About Germantown, MD - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Germantown is located in Montgomery County, Maryland, approximately fifty miles east of Baltimore and twenty-five miles north of Washington, D. C.  With a population of more than 86,000, Germantown is the third most populous city in Maryland.  The city features a wide variety of shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities, as well as a beautiful seasonal climate that produces hot humid summers, moderately cold winters, and lovely mild weather for spring and fall.

Germantown’s rich history can be experienced through the many historic buildings and homes located throughout the Germantown Historic District.  Sites of note include the circa 1815 Black Rock Mill and the circa 1790 Waters House, Germantown’s oldest home.

Germantown is home to numerous cultural and recreational opportunities, as well.  The city boasts a number of city parks that include the 695-acre South Germantown Recreational Park, featuring amenities such as hiking, biking, archery, miniature golf, swimming, picnicking, and adventure play, and Great Seneca Stream Valley Park, home of the Seneca Creek Greenway Trail.  Patrons of the arts will enjoy a visit to BlackRock Center for the Arts, a cultural, visual, and performing arts facility that features an art gallery, dance studio, black box studio theater, and 210-seat proscenium theater.

Germantown was ranked 24th on CNN Money Magazine’s “Best Places to Live” for 2012.   A stable economy, lively cultural arts community, and convenient access to Baltimore and Washington, D. C. via Interstate Highway 270, MARC commuter rail, and Ride On bus service are all contributing factors to Germantown’s desirability.
