About Kensington, MD - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Kensington is located in Montgomery CountyMaryland, approximately thirty-five miles southwest of Baltimore and ten miles north of Washington, D. C.  Founded by developer Brainard Warner as Kensington Park in the early 1890s, the town’s name was changed to Kensington upon incorporation in 1894. 

Kensington offers a delightful array of opportunities for shopping, dining, recreation, and entertainment that are sure to please residents and visitors alike!  At the top of everyone’s shopping list is Antique Row, a diverse assemblage of antique shops, vintage bookstores, florists, gift emporiums, salons, and eating establishments located along Howard Avenue East and adjacent streets.  Patrons of the performing arts can take in a performance at the Kensington Arts Theatre, while history lovers can experience Kensington’s rich heritage through the Kensington Walking Tour, courtesy of the Kensington Historical Society.  For outdoor sports and recreation, the city offers seven community parks, managed and maintained by the Montgomery County Parks Department.  They include Capitol View-Homewood Park, Kensington Cabin Local Park, and Ken-Gar Palisades Park, the official training site of the Montgomery County Road Runners Club.
